Satsang Activities:

  • Satsang: Regular satsangs are held the second Sunday each month from 3:00 to 5:00pm. Call for directions. Satsang meets at the Ada Pierce McCormick building in the Little Chapel of All Nations located on the UA campus on the northeast corner of Highland & First Street: 1052 Highland Street, Tucson.
  • Satsang is also held on the first Sunday of each month at 6:30pm at the home of John and Jill Weiss: 7541 North Calle Sin Desengano, Tucson. IAM Guided Meditation begins at 6:00pm for those who have taken the course.

Satsang Activities:

Regular, joyful satsangs are held the first and third Saturday of each month, which include the 1,000 Names of the Divine Mother, devotional singing, chanting of the 108 Names of Amma, arati and supper. IAM classes are also offered on a regular basis, as are instructions in the 108 Names of Amma and bhajan practice twice a month. In addition, Amrita Bala Kendra classes for children are offered on the first and third Saturdays of each month. The satsang also has a Mother’s Kitchen project every Saturday, providing a freshly prepared sack lunch to needy residents of the St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church neighborhood on South Broadway.

Satsang Activities :

We start with the Dyana Sloka, then we chant The 108 names of Amma, followed by a short reading. We sing bhajans for about an hour and finish with Arati and the closing prayers. After the program, those who wish to stay enjoy prasad and social interaction. Please call for dates and times of our monthly satsang.

  • The Taos/Dixon Satsang in northern New Mexico meets twice a month, on Sunday afternoons, at the homes of devotees in Taos and Dixon. Programs include the 108 Names of Amma, childrens' stories, readings of Amma's teachings, bhajans, arati, and prasad, followed by a potluck dinner. Children are welcome. On the last Sunday of each month, we prepare a meal before satsang for the Taos Men's Shelter.
